Lost Pets

If you have recently lost your pet there are a number of things you can do to help find your loved one. By all means fill out the classified lost pet form and we will post a community message for you.

Also, contact Cindy Walden, she is the Sacramento County Animal Control Officer who patrols our area of Folsom. Her number is 439-2268. Make sure you have the following information:

  • Was your pet wearing a collar, if so what was the collar, was it leather or was it a chain?
  • Was your pet wearing a license tag - if so what is the license number if you know it?
  • Was the pet wearing a personal ID tag and if so what does it say?
  • Does your pet have a microchip?
  • Are there any special identifying marks?

It might be that Cindy may come across your pet before it finds its way to an animal shelter saving everyone a lot of stress - including your pet!

Also, Pet Finders has lots of information on how to help find your lost pet. Visit www.petfinder.org.
