Lost Pets
If you have recently lost your pet there are a number of things you can do to help find your loved one. By all means fill out the classified lost pet form and we will post a community message for you.
Also, contact Cindy Walden, she is the Sacramento County Animal Control Officer who patrols our area of Folsom. Her number is 439-2268. Make sure you have the following information:
- Was your pet wearing a colar, if so what was the collar, was it leather or was it a chain?
- Was your pet wearing a license tag - if so what is the license number if you know it?
- Was the pet wearing a personal ID tag and if so what does it say?
- Does your pet have a microchip?
- Are there any special identifying marks?
It might be that Cindy may come across your pet before it finds its way to an animal shelter saving everyone a lot of stress - including your pet!

Key information for any postings you may do would include:
- Date and time your pet was lost or you found your pet missing
- Where the pet was lost or found (as precisly as possible)
- Who to contact
- The breed, sex, age and color
- What type of ID, if any (personal ID tag, license, microchip the pet has
